It looks as if The Twilight Zone is entering a new dimension thanks to CBS All Access.
The Twilight Zone was an instant success when Rod Serling began the now classic show in 1959. It ran for over 150 episodes and even had a follow up series in the 1980s.
It’s been difficult to recreate the feel of the original series with an intense creep factor as well as heavy social commentary. But it looks like The Twilight Zone might finally be getting the remake it deserves.
Reports tell us that CBS (the station the original Twilight Zone series appeared on) is looking to bring their hit series to TV for a whole new generation. Jordan Peele, director of the hit 2017 thriller, Get Out, is producing a new generation of The Twilight Zone anthology series. And with the success of other anthology series such as Black Mirror and Room 104, it looks like this revival is coming at the perfect time to guarantee a successful run for this reboot.
There’s still no word on a release date, but we are definitely ready for Peele’s next stop… The Twilight Zone.
