It’s A Thing Media and The Geekiverse participate in affiliate marketing  programs. From time to time there will be text links, banner ads, or display ads in posts on the Geekiverse. We may receive a small commission off of products or services that are purchased through those links on our website. We will only provide links that we determine to provide value to our readers, and we will not recommend products or services that we have not used. The Geekiverse and IATM are not liable, however, for any warranty or damages from products or services purchased from other vendors on our website. All claims should be directed to those vendors.

The website www.thegeekiverse.com (“The Geekiverse”) is a property of It’s A Thing Media (IATM). The Geekiverse provides news and entertainment on a wide variety of topics including, but not limited to, philosophy, gadgets, politics, comedy, video games, comic books, food, music, entertainment, business, DIY, and movies. IATM and The Geekiverse is strongly committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information, and providing a safe and secure environment for our users.

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to the The Geekiverse website, and not to other websites to which we link, or to advertisers on the Site.

The Information We Gather

IATM collects information from you at several different points on the Site in the manner set forth in this Privacy Policy. Whenever we collect personal information, we will make an effort to include a link to the Policy on that page.

Children’s Information

Personal information about children is a concern for all of us. At The Geekiverse, we take the protection of children’s privacy very seriously. The Geekiverse does not encourage participation or visitation by children. The Site is not directed toward anyone under the age of eighteen (18) years of age. The Geekiverse does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under eighteen (18) years of age. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you should not provide any Personally Identifiable Information through the Site. Children under the age of eighteen (18) are allowed to sign up for any newsletter topic, but are not allowed to fully register to the Site with Personally Identifiable Information including, but not limited to phone number and postal address. The subscription of any person under the age of eighteen (18) will not be processed, however the child will still be eligible to receive email newsletters and advertisements delivered to the email address that was provided at the time of signup.

We provide a service that allows users to add their own reviews or comments to our content. Please note that the reviews or any other information you provide that is placed on the Site will be available for any user to read, and is therefore no longer private. The Geekiverse and IATM owns the rights to this content and reserves the right to publish such reviews in other media formats, in its sole discretion.
