First Look at The Handmaid’s Tale Season 2

It’s been a stellar year for the cast and crew of The Handmaid’s Tale, Hulu’s gold mine based off of Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel of the same name. With eight Emmy wins as well as Golden Globe wins for Best Television Series- Drama and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series-Drama with show is a tour de force with a chilling story to tell that seems strangely suited for the times.

On January 12th, Entertainment Weekly released first looks at season two of The Handmaid’s Tale. For those of you who read the book, you might be scratching your head and saying to yourself, “What more is there to tell? We reached the end!” And that’s true: season one ends just as the book ends. But it seems we have more of a story to tell after all. Atwood is acting as a consulting producer on season two so we can be sure this new addition to the story will have her guidance and blessing.

Check out the images below (all from Entertainment Weekly) to get your first look at the Colonies and a Handmaid’s funeral in The Handmaid’s Tale season two which will premiere on Hulu in April.
