All New Star Wars Virtual Reality Experience Coming to Disney Parks


Have you ever wanted to grab your lightsaber and just jump into all the action in order to save (or rule) the galaxy? Well, if you’re heading to Disneyland or the Walt Disney World Resort anytime soon, your wish just might be coming true!

It was announced today (8/3/17) by Lucasfilm that they are teaming up with Void, a virtual reality start-up company, to bring you a brand new and fully immersive Star Wars experience at both Downtown Disney at Disneyland in California and Disney Springs at Walt Disney World in Florida.


Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire will allow Guests to actually wander freely through a Star Wars themed virtual world where they can interact with fellow players as well as popular Star Wars characters.

While we don’t have too many details on this exciting announcement just yet, Lucasfilm revealed that they hope to have this exciting new experience ready for the holiday season.
