At the risk of helping you avoid a weekend of sleepless, fretful nights, I will tell you this: The new It trailer is the thing your nightmares are made of.

Warner Brothers released its latest look at Andres Muschietti’s adaptation of Stephen King’s 1986 horror epic on Thursday. If the intensity of the trailer is any indicator of the film’s tone, King fans will be in for an extremely nerve-wracking night at the movies come September. Watch it below.

Now, collect your tears and tell us what you think in the comments. How many times will you check under your bed for Pennywise the Clown before you go to sleep tonight? My count is at 10 already. I don’t think I can ever un-hear dead Georgie Denbrough saying, “You’ll float, too.”

All fear-mongering aside, It will hit theaters on September 8 and tell the story of the ‘Losers Club,’ a group of friends coming together to rid their town of a horrifying force killing and feeding on the town’s children. The cast includes Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard, Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jack Dylan Grazer. Bill Skarsgard stars as It/Pennywise the Clown. Prepare yourself.

Trey Wydysh was first scared out of his socks by the 1990 TV adaptation of It when he was 10, then again when he was 13. When he read the book when he was 17, he didn’t sleep for a whole summer. Please don’t make fun of him on Twitter.
