E3 2017 is over, but our coverage isn’t quite yet. It’s time to hand out some awards!

The Geekawards are usually reserved for December, but we decided to throw some love towards this year’s E3 convention in Los Angeles. Without further adieu, here’s the best of E3 2017!

  1. That’s an…almost surprisingly agreeable set of awards. There were ups and downs, but I really enjoyed the output from this year’s show. Word is most of the live demos on the show floor are encouraging as well.

    Were the lines with the public there as nightmarish as reported?

    • For the most part yes, it was quite the madhouse. Super Mario Odyssey in particular was insane, with people waiting in line for literally an entire day to play it.

      It was my first year at E3, so I can only speak from my own experience, as well as impressions I’ve gotten from other people. From what I understand it’s still about as crazy as it has been in recent years, and while there were systems in place for the public and press to separately get what they needed, there is definitely room for improvement there.
