News is out that Dave Meltzer is once again shifting his ratings scale when it comes to Wrestling.
Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega broke the scale, getting the first ever 6-star match back in January when they wrestled for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
Now, in this week’s Wrestling Observer, Meltzer gave the match at NJPW Dominion 6.25 stars. The two phenomenal talents (no pun intended) wrestled to a 60-minute draw.
Meltzer is defending his ratings on Twitter, saying the psychology and talent is unprecedented, and there is not bias towards NJPW matches.
The Geekiverse and Court of Nerds discussed the 6 star match previously:
What do you think? Is the scale broken? Do we need to re-think all of it? Or has Meltzer lost his mind?
