Guardians of the Galaxy Coming to Marvel Day at Sea on Disney Cruise Line

Calling all superhero nuts! Have you ever dreamed of sailing across the ocean surrounded by your favorite super heroes and super villains? Well, Disney is the place where dreams come true whether in their parks or on the high seas! And this year, it looks like a few more familiar faces will be appearing on the Disney Magic cruise ship for Disney’s very first Marvel Day at Sea.

Thor, Captain America, Spider-Man, and (rumor has it) Loki will be on board for Guests to interact with along with many other heroes both old and new. Along with character meet and greets, Guests can take part in trivia contests and exclusive screenings of Disney XD’s shows Marvels Avenger’s Assemble, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man, and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. There will be a brand-new special spell-binding show starring Doctor Strange as well as exclusive merchandise. There will be a deck party at night complete with characters, pyrotechnics, and the largest assemblage of super heroes and villains on a cruise ship (because it’s a common appearance, you know).

Alongside the Avengers, Guests will also come into contact with the Guardians of the Galaxy, particularly Star-Lord, Gamora, and even Groot.

The only thing that is more exciting than meeting the Guardians is the latest news that there will be an adult-only event at the Fathoms nightclub, now transformed into a Ravager hideout. Mingle with the galactic outlaws as the music starts to pump and keep an eye out for Star-Lord and his epic dance moves. Of course, it’s up to you whether or not you join in… as Drax says, “There are two types of beings in the universe: those who dance and those who do not.”

Will you be booking a Disney Cruise to take part at Disney’s very first (but certainly not the last) Marvel Day at Sea? Which character do you want to meet the most? Which songs do you think they’ll play in the Ravager hideout?
