The Geekend: Mothers Day Edition – 5/10/15

It’s beautiful weather for us in Western New York this Geekend, but that won’t stop us from gaming! Happy Mothers Day to all of our gaming and non-gaming mothers this weekend.

Josiah LeRoy: Happy Mothers Day to all of our gaming and non-gaming mothers alike! I am fortunate enough to spend some time with my family this weekend. In between, I’ll be playing a bit of Game of Thrones and reading up on the Batman: Arkham Knight comics.

Sam Sarvis: I’m working all weekend but in between that and seeing my mom. I will be continuing my quest on Tales of Hearts R for the Vita and waiting impatiently for The Witcher 3!

Jeff Pawlak: I’m not really sure what my plans actually are this weekend. I’ll definitely finish watching the second season of The Legend of Korra, but other than that it’s up in the air. Maybe I’ll finally start playing Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker on Wii U, maybe I’ll catch up on some movies and comics on my massive backlog, maybe I’ll just bum around and play more Super Smash Bros. Wii U.

Andrew Vakarian: I finally decided to play my copy of Shadow of Mordor, and I’m loving it so far! I’ll be messing around with that along with playing a modded PC version of FFVII (looks beautiful with the HD graphics mods and new textures) and trying to get through The Witcher 2 on PC again so I can be all set for the sequel.

Chris Austin: Happy Mothers Day to everyone out there! This will be a very busy non-gaming weekend for me. Today my girlfriend and I are going to meet a kitten we hope to adopt and tomorrow is mothers day of course. I’m sure I’ll fit in some of my latest mobile addiction, Tetris Blitz and maybe some Dragon Age. Gotta check out that new DLC!
